Between the 8th and the 15th of july 2012, in Grenaag, Denmark, „Action Street Art 2012” youth exchange took place, and the participants came from: Romania, Denmark, Italy and Estonia. The project’s purpose was creating an original show for children in schools, making new friends and learning about new cultures around Europe. To know each other better we have developed four intercultural evenings where each country presented its traditions but especially food. Thus, each participant was able to learn something about other people in each country.
In the early days we prepared in the workshops chosen for three performances at the end of the week. There was contemporary dance with Pako, street dance with Steve, percussion with Didier, theatre with Leif and Bulette and media with Daniel.
Besides the activities held in each workshop, where everyone was able to develop their skills or learn new ones, we learned new games, songs and dances of each country.
We could also visit the town where we were staying, Grenaa and another city, Ebeltoft.
