Aproape imediat legea a fost atacata, in media, in dezbateri publice  si in parlament.

Yes For Evs | Training Course for development of good quality in EVS projects

IMG_20160813_150639

Obiectvele acestui curs au fost : impartasirea unor provocari in activitatea de pregatire si de sprijin  a voluntarilor SEV; impartasiea unor bune practici in formarea si sprijinul voluntarilor SEV; elaborarea unui ghid pentru lucratorii din asociotii de tineret si pentru cei implicati in gaduirea si coordonarea voluntarilor SEV; cunoastera si realizarea unor parteneriate cu organiatiile active in proiectele SEV.

20160814_113300

In prima zi am facut jocuri de cunoastere.

Between 8th  to 14th of August 2016  I attended the training course “Yes For Evs ” in Leszno, a city in Western Poland. The aim of this training course was to improve the quality of the projects that’s been realized by the project partners, increasing the amount of high-quality execution, increasing the amount and establishing partnerships, exchange of good practices and experiences related to European volunteering, generating new project ideas and developping joint solutions and share the problems and doubts in the implementation of international projects intranscultural environment and increase the level of information in methods of non-formal education (as a tool to build intercultural integration, intercultural dialogue and as a form of education of youth that supplements formal education).

IMG_20160809_191444

The objectives of this course were: to share common challenges within EVS volunteers preparation and support; to share best practices in EVS volunteers’s training and support; to develop a set of guidelines for youth workers involved in EVS volunteers hosting and coordination; to meet partners and potential partners active in EVS projects and build future partnerships.
On the first day we did some name games and because we were 30 participants,  we had to do more , then we presented the fears , expectations and what we can offer to this project. The organizers of the seminar have challenged us to discover the city through a ” treasure hunt ”  so we divided into 5 teams and we had to find some clues (the cheapest supermarket, post office, the oldest building etc ). In the evening we organized the intercultural evening, where Romania was well represented , alongside members of Support 4 Youth Development. The participants appreciated the sweets with rum , palinca , cheese, the entire food  and promotional materials of our country.

In the coming days we worked in small groups , having created an organization that wants to host EVS volunteers and we simulated interviewing a volunteer who wants to come , then discussed the obstacles encountered and about the positive points and negative . This activity was followed by a press conference with EVS volunteers of the  CAT Organization ( the organization that we hosted in Poland ) and a visit to the school where volunteers do their work during the summer, where all participants have played with the children and made bubbles.

On Friday, 12th of August , there was a kind of NGO fair : each participant had to present their association and , where it was the case, there were made some partnerships  that will be materialized in future projects. The day was concluded with a public representation ( flashmob ) and each group had to submit something ; the majority decided to demonstrate a dance that includes also Leszno’s city residents .

20160811_121205

The experience in this country was not completed before taking part in a Polish wedding, organized by CAT, especially for those present. So, I took part in many customs and traditions of this country, which I thought was very interesting. In conclusion, I was glad that I participated in this training. I liked very much what I did on the first day ( Treasure Hunt ), I really appreciate the effort to organize the Polish evening  (Polish Wedding ) and also gave me pleasure to see where EVS volunteers do their activities . At the same time, I appreciate the fact that I met people from different organizations in Europe and found that they are willing to do EVS in our organization.

EvsMOTIONS Training Course in Sajan, Serbia

De asemenea am invatat si despe „I-speech” si ce presupune aceasta metoda: trebuie sa vorbim concret despre cele intamplate (When I see/ hear… ), sa spunem ceea ce simtim (I feel… ), sa precizam nevoile (I have a need of… ) si sa spunem ce ne dorim cu adevarat in final (I would like…).

13775948_10153678032411319_4146595052505942102_n

20160722_133015

Between 15th to 24th of July I have participated in the training “EvsMotions” that took place in Sajan, small town in Serbia. This course activity is designed for staff (mentors/tutors/facilitator) from partner organizations who will be directly working with the EVS volunteers for more skills and knowledge how to give support EVS volunteers in a context of emotional management and stress relief.

The course objectives were:  to empower mentors/tutors/facilitators to be aware of their own difficult-to-handle fillings that arise during their work with EVS volunteers with fewer opportunities; to learn ways to self-assess and develop own emotional competencies; to introduce the concept of emotional intelligence and its relevance for professional and

personal development; to develop and to integrate the L2L competences from a perspective of emotional management in the work with EVS volunteers; to develop the self-awareness regarding his/her own limits, character & personality and its impact on the EVS mentoring/facilitating process and learning preferences.

So, trainers Suzana Krstic, Diego Marin and Marko Pejovic have reserved the four next days to explore the four main emotions: fear, anger, sadness and joy, with a day off between the last two. Before this, each received a “best friend” that he had to be with and develop conversations about a topic given in all moments.

13707657_10153682386576319_440925155421047113_n

Analyzing in detail these emotions was followed by learning new communication techniques, how to be a listener, an observer and a speaker, how to be empathetic and how to give feedback (talk specifically about what happened, say what we liked, we would love to be improved and what recommendations  we have). I also learned about “I-speech” and this method implies: we have to talk specifically about what happened (When I see / Hear …), say what we feel (I feel …), to mention our needs (I have a need of …) and say what we really want in the end (I would like …).

On the last day, after we analyzed what we did not understand and what we need to practice, each had to choose a workshop according to their desires and needs.

20160721_141545
After evaluating the course in which each had to say what he learned during this period, what notions are we taking home and share something with the group, we organized a farewell party .

I believe that after this training organized by Vele Georgiev ( Culture Goes Europe) and Aleksej Stepanov ( Culture Goes Europe) I learned how to be aware of certain emotions and how I can identify them , I learned many energizers and trust games, I realized  „I spech ‘s” importace and I hope I will put it into practice and I learned how to give feedback. I really liked very much to taking part in this training course. (Alina Elena Cojocariu, România)

YiA4SDG Training | Codlea, România | 2-9th of July | Poetry

“A special day with wonderful people”

Under magnificent hills, big black church,
She was getting the feels and a story to search;
We met a group of kids from the south,
Though the older generation had some doubt;
Should I really go and talk with them for the hour?
Even if some of them are open and some of them are sour;
Boys were easier than girls,
But still you feel like energy grows;
There was a guy that didn’t use words,
But his silence was as free as the birds;
Join us and get on the SDGs track,
If you smile, you get a smile back;
Police might even tangle in suspicion,
But what is education without a little ambition?
We connected with people real quick,
And changed their lives with just one click!
