2012 aduce noi voluntari in Programele de animatie clinica Maria, Constantin, Dumitru

January 22, 2012

Bucharest 13.01.12

As we entered the new year, we thought of bringing more new volunteers in A.C.T.O.R.’s team, willing for  beautiful experiences. Therefore we organized a small preparatory training before going into the hospitals to hold our activity as clinical animators. Through the participants we could find Alice, a young philology graduate specialized on psicho-therapy and therapy through art, Teodora, an 11th grader who wishes to spend her free time bringing joy to those in need, and Katharina, from Austria, our new EVS volunteer , freshly arrived in Bucharest.

For 2 hours, we presented the activities we are going to develop in the 3 partner hospitals – Marie Curie (Budimex), Lacul Bucura, Grigore Alexandrescu and we discussed about expectations, fears and about what each one is willing to offer for the well being of this program.

We took on new non-formal learning methods like role-playing, trying to offer the future volunteers a realistic view of what a clinical animator’s job in children’s hospitals is like. In the end we offered them materials for individual study and we reserved a moment for questions and further explanations.

Mojn- Knivsberg, Sonderborg , Denmark – 13th to 20th of November 2011 – Drums for Peace youth exchange

November 23, 2011

Knivsberg, Sonderborg , Denmark – is the place where was hosted for one week  the so called Mojn youth exchange. The people involved were from Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Germany and Romania. The project’s aim was to build up friendships between European youngsters, and also to breakdown the national and linguistic barriers.  Knivsberg is located in the south of Denmark, near Germany border and is the name of a German campus. For 2 days we have prepared for the final performances, each participant having the possibility to choose from these workshops:  global dance with Pako in charge, music with Boris, break-dance with Steve and circus with Sebastian. During this week, we made new friends, we had a lot of fun together and we also visit the surrounding cities, such as Aabenraa and Sonderborg. In addition, we had an intercultural evening, where everybody had the opportunity to present their own culture and traditions, each of them bringing some typical food from their country. We have tasted a little bit of halloumi cheese from Cyprus, some beer from Germany and smoked fish from Estonia.  We have learned how to dance, to sing and to play foreign games. We served our host with palinca and Romanian bread. And we taught them how to dance one of our traditional dances – perinita. The Romanian team showed enthusiasm and initiative during the whole week.

“L`arte Macchiato”- Chiavenna, Italy/ 29.10-5.11.11

November 21, 2011

In perioada 29octombrie 2011 – 05 noiembrie 2011, 7 tineri din A.C.T.O.R. au participat  in Italia, la Chiavenna, la schimbul de tineret “L`arte Macchiato”. Proiectul s-a derulat cu sprijinul programului Tineret in Actiune din cadrul retelei europene Drums for Peace. Cel putin o data in viata, acest oras trebuie vizitat. Ajungand la destinatie, in locul unde urma sa fim cazati in urmatoarele 7 zile, pe fiecare usa a camerelor de la etajul al doilea a Ostello del Deserto era un mesaj care avea sa ne prezinte in avans tema proiectului: ”The future you have, tomorrow, won’t be the same future you had, yesterday.”

Acestia au fost: Valeria Cristia, Stoian Mirela, Serbu Madalina, Enache Smaranda, Mihai Stefanita Barbu, Ciobanu Ionut, Anghel Teodora si Enache Horia.

Serbu Madalina – Participant in cadrul Schimbului de Tineret L’Arte Macchiato – Italia

Between 29 October 2011 - 05 November 2011, I went with 7 people, representing ACTOR, in Italy, in Chiavenna, to participate in a youth exchange named ”L’arte Macchiato” within the organization Drums for Peace. Chiavenna is a small town in north of Italy at 125 km from Milan and close to the border with Switzerland. It is a small town with a great historical center, surrounded by the Alps. The first impression you get when you see yourself surrounded by so much beauty is indescribable. At least once in life, the city must be visited. Arriving at the destination, in the place where we would be accommodated for the next 7days, on the second floor, on each door of each room of Ostello del Deserto was a message. The message told us in advance the project’s theme: ”The future you have, tomorrow, Will not be The Same future you ever had, yesterday. ”Chuck Palahniuk”

So the theme of the project was ”The Future”  and  during this project, representatives from ACTOR together with ARCI Varieazioni from Italy, Norddjurs Ungdomsskole from Denmark, Sliperiet from Sweden, GAIAC from Portugal and Karksi-Nuia Noortekeskus from Estonia, discussed and have prepared by non-formal methods a show about the future and what it involves! All participants had a choice of 4 workshops: Urban dance with Pako, music / beatbox with Llew, circus with Diego and  physical theater with Alice. After 4 days of rehearsal, juggling, dancing and singing, the participants of this project have created a show that was presented at the San Vittore prison from Milan and  theater from Chiavenna. After hard work the reward came: every evening all project participants took part in various events that were organized by Italian staff: Halloween party that had the theme of our future and what we want to become in life, walk in Chiavenna, walk in Milan and parties with dancing and fun. Romanian participants attended full of energy, enthusiasm and initiative in all the workshops that took place and also to all the events that were organized. All were given body and soul in everything they did. They were: Valeria Cristea, Mirela Stoian, Serbu Madalina, Smaranda Enache, Mihai Stefanita Barbu,  Ionut Ciobanu, Anghel Teodora and Enache Horia.
