“German Kindergarden” – by Florian Ferner

Since the Aici-Acolo program started and the volunteers have had trainings for learning how to work with Kindergarden and Primary School children, in November, they started doing the lessons individually.

Florian, the only Austrian volunteer at the moment, has had the opportunity to create a lesson for the German Kindergarden in Bucharest.

“My name is Florian, I am 20 years old, I was born in Vienna (Austria) and I have had the honor of attending German lessons in school classes. I was amazed that some of the children between the ages of 5 and 10 knew German proverbs, so I had to think twice about whether I should go to a school in Austria or Romania. I am also very enthusiastic about the fact that the children learn with songs. The children’s pronunciation was quite good for the level of German. The children’s passion was clearly visible.”

He will continue to have lessons there every week!
