Call for ESC Traineeships! Communion in Youth Work wants you! 2020 – 2021 (6 months offer)

Communion in Youth Work

A.C.T.O.R. is a Cultural Organization based in Bucharest, Romania.

Our team is looking for new members and we can offer a unique experience in the field of Youth Work.

In the context of the European Solidarity Corps, Traineeships are solidarity activities that provide young people with opportunities for full-time (in line with national legislation) work practice or employment, helping them to enhance their skills and experience thus facilitating their employability and transition into the labour market. Traineeships offer young people a unique opportunity to gain experience and make a start on the labour market while contributing to address important societal challenges. The participation of young people in these activities will be of benefit to themselves and to national and local authorities and bodies, non-governmental organisations and companies in their efforts to cope with various challenges.

The European Solidarity Corps seeks to promote social inclusion and enhance young people’s career perspectives. Having been a participant in the Corps is a valuable achievement for any young person (in particular for the most vulnerable and detached from the labour market) and will be an asset when applying for a job. Paid traineeships can represent an incentive for disadvantaged young people and young people with fewer opportunities to participate in solidarity-related activities that they might not otherwise be able to access.
