Call for Partners: CINE+smART (KA1)

A.C.T.O.R. – Cultural Association for Theatre and Origami in Romania – is looking for partners from European/Program countries for a KA1 project titled CINE+smART. The application will be submitted under ERASMUS+ program, to the National Agency for the 4th of October deadline.



Deadline to receive partner applications: 30/09/2017

Project duration: 01/03/2018 – 28/02/2019 (12 months)

Training course dates: 03/07/2018 – 12/07/2018 (10 days)

Training location: Codlea, Romania


The goal of the training course (CINE+smART; 03/07-12/07/2018) is to gather 18 youth workers from EU countries and empower them to use audio-visual methods in their work as facilitators for their young local community.

The main objective of CINE+smART is to give the intercultural team the opportunity to experiment different roles found in cinematography (scriptwriter, director, camera operator, editor, actor etc.) in order to gain new knowledge on the film making process and methods to be applied in their youth work. The roles and activities in training course will have as main result the creation and production of a short film that will validate their work, but also their exchange of good practices in working with youth. The participating youth workers will also be empowered to reproduce their experience in their local communities by creating follow-up workshops for youngsters in their countries.

We are looking for 5-6 partner organizations interested in sending young youth workers who are practicing in their local communities; the participant should fit the profile of the youth worker who would like to develop his toolkit of educational non-formal methods while involving cinematography as a form of art in education in order to gain and create new audio-visual methods as to be have more impact in his work with youth. He should also be interested in collaborating with other youth workers in an intercultural context as to exchange good practices among them and contribute to an dynamic and efficient film working group.

More info: ERASMUS+ Programme covers food & accommodation and participants will be reimbursed the travel costs according to travel distances upon presentation of travel documents. The venue of the event will be in Codlea (close to Brașov), Transylvania, Romania.
