PREZENTARE LA ACADEMIA DE STUDII ECONOMICE
Joi, pe data de 11 decembrie, 8 voluntari A.C.T.O.R. au ținut o prezentare despre țările lor de origine și poveștile lor de viață la Academia de Studii Economice din București (ASE). Aygul (Azerbaidjan), Tamo (Georgia), Alice (Italia), Noëmie (Franța), Carolina (Anglia), Carlos (Spania) și cu mine – Josip din Croația – am prezentat activitățile pe care le întreprindem în România, motivele pentru care am ales să venim aici și câteva lucruri despre țările noastre în fața a 30 de studenți la economie. Viktorija din Lituania, voluntar Erasmus, a prezentat programul Erasmus și opinia ei despre România pe baza celor 2 luni pe care le-a petrecut aici. Aceste prezentări sunt parte a programului de promovare a Serviciului European de Voluntariat (EVS) și a voluntariatului în general, dar pentru vorbitori au reprezentat și un ajutor în exersatul limbii române, deci au fost și parte a cursurilor de limbă română.
Viktorija, voluntar Erasmus, a făcut o introducere despre programul Erasmus, fiind urmată de cei 7 voluntari EVS care și-au prezentat fiecare țara de origine. A fost un adevărat amestec de culturi și păreri, deoarece fiecare voluntar are un cu totul alt trecut față de ceilalți, o viziune diferită asupra vieții și asupra priorităților de realizat în România. Studenții români au pus multe întrebări în limbi diferite, având în vedere faptul că voluntarii EVS deja vorbesc puțin limba română, dar au vorbit și franceză, și italiană, iar eu, Aygul și Tamo am fost rugați să vorbim în propriile noastre limbi, deoarece studenții nu știau cum sună acestea. Pe scurt, ei au fost foarte interesați de culturile noi.

Noëmie, voluntar ASK ME din Franța: „Aceasta a fost prima mea zi la universitate după mult timp. La început, am avut emoții, eram neliniștită de faptul că nu eram sigură că studenții vor fi interesați de ceea ce urma să spunem, dar când le-am observat atenția la poveștile noastre, am fost plăcut surprinsă. Au fost foarte motivați și au pus multe întrebări, a fost o plăcere să îmi împărtășesc opiniile cu ei. Aș vrea să continui acest tip de prezentări și cu alte grupuri de studenți.”
Tamo, voluntar ASK ME din Georgia: „Neliniștită… e prima oară când mergem la universitate și, cu atât mai mult, trebuia să vorbim în română. O mare provocare, dar noi am cerut-o, deci… nu am avut timp să ne plângem. Am intrat în sală și erau studenți, copii care te priveau ca pe ceva diferit, special. Când mă uitam la ei, îmi aminteam de primii mei ani de studenție, când, ca ei, eram interesată de tot. În legătură cu prezentare mea, îmi amintesc de o fată care părea foarte interesată de Georgia, de jurnalism, de mine. Mi-a făcut discursul mai ușor de ținut și, ca să fiu sinceră, m-a ajutat mult să folosesc limba georgiană în prezentare. În general, totul a fost foarte bine. Studenții erau foarte interesați de țările noastre, de culturile noastre, au folosit aceasta oportunitate să vorbească în franceză, spaniolă (dar nu georgiană). Probabil că ei acum știu mai multe despre aceste țări ca oricând, iar noi știm puțin mai multă română, deci a fost o lecție folositoare pentru toți.”
Aceasta a fost a doua prezentare a voluntarilor EVS din cadrul A.C.T.O.R. la Academia de Studii Economice. În opinia mea, a fost un succes absolut și ne-am făcut câteva cunoștințe noi.

PRESENTATION AT A.S.E. UNIVERSITY
In Thursday, December 11th, 8 ACTOR’s volunteers held presentation about their countries and life stories at Academia de Studii Economice din Bucuresti (ASE) University. Aygul (Azerbaijan), Tamo (Georgia), Alice (Italy), Noemi (France), Carolina (England), Carlos (Spain) and me – Josip from Croatia – presented what do they do in Romania, why they chose to come in Romania and what are they countries like in front of 30 students of economy. Viktorija from Lithuania, Erasmus volunteer, presented Erasmus program and her view on Romania for the 2 months since she’s staying here. This presentations are part of the program of promotion of EVS and volunteering in general, but for presenters were useful as practice of Romanian language skills, so they were part of Romanian language lessons, too.
Viktorija, Erasmus volunteer, first introduced her program, and after that 7 EVS volunteers presented their nations. It was real mixture of cultures and views, since every each volunteer has completely different background from others, different views on life and priorities to achieve in Romania. Romanian students were asking lots of questions on different languages, since EVS volunteers now already speak some Romanian language, but they were talking on French and Italian, and Aygul, Tamo and me were asked to speak on our languages, because students are not familiar with how these languages sound like. Overall, they were very interested in new cultures.

Noemi, ASK ME volunteer from France: “This was my first day at the university after a long time. At first I was anxious, nervous whether the students will be interested in what we will say, but when I saw their interest in our stories, I was pleasantly surprised. They were really motivated and asked many questions, it was a pleasure to share my views with them. I would like to continue this kind of presentations with new group of students.”
Tamo, ASK ME volunteer from Georgia: “Nervous… it’s first time that we went to university, and even worse – we had to talk on Romanian. Big challenge, but we asked for it, so…no time for complaining. We entered in the room and there are students, kids looking at you as you are something not normal, special…when looking at them I remembered my first students years, when I was also like them interested in everything. On my presentation I remember one girl who seemed really interested in Georgia, in journalism, in me. She made my speech easier and to be honest, using Georgian languagein presentation helped me a lot. In general everything was more than nice. Students were really interested in our countries, cultures, they used opportunity to talk French, Spanish, not Georgian 😀 Probably now they know more about each country than before, and we know a little bit more Romanian, so this was good practice for everybody.”
This was second presentation of ACTOR’s EVS volunteers in ASE university. On my opinion it was a huge success and we got some new acquaintances.
