Noi voluntari romani in A.C.T.O.R.- New Romanian Volunteers in A.C.T.O.R.

Friday, 26 July 2013, a new meeting of th romanian volunteers who actively support the clinical   animation in hospitals together with the European volunteers and participate in campaigns run by ACTOR,  giving their free time, enthusiasm and good mood to the beneficiaries of  our programs.

Students from Sincai George Michael the Brave, George Cosbuc high schools or from the Central School had the opportunity to meet each other and to share experiences they have had as volunteers. Whether we are talking about the Marie Curie emergency Hospital or about Lacul Bucura TB Hospital, volunteers are very excited about their activities, but they admit that in some moments the suffering of those who are at a turning point in their life is sometimes overwhelming, but every smile they can give to a child is a unique moment and gives them the strength to go on.

High school students have shown them creativity by making entertaining and educational stories through Puppet Theater or through a narrative exposition using diverse materials accessible to everyone. With the help of Alina Vatavu and Andreea Vasilescu they learned new origami figures that they will use in their hospitals. The volunteers are now ready to start again their activities in hospitals and to bring a shred of joy there where happiness sometimes forgets to make its presence felt.
We, the ACTOR team, want to thank to all the volunteers who devote time and affection to those who have the greatest need, ill children.
