New life for traditional stories, mobility number 2

Intre 23 si 27 martie 2013, A.C.T.O.R. , in calitate de partenener roman in cadrul proiectului Grundtvig – Partneriate- “New life for traditional stories” a gazduit un curs pentru 21 de participanti din Italia, Potugalia, Franta, Estonia, Finlanda si Danemarca. Acesta s-a dorit un intensiv curs de initiere in teatrul de umbre. Metodele de lucru au fost inovative si provocatoare, participantii  avand ca tema sa realizeze cate un moment de teatru de umbre, lucrand in grupuri nationale, pornind de la povestile traditionale alese inainte de inceperea acestui curs. Rezultatele exercitiilor au fost adunate intr-un spectacol, fara cuvinte, care a fost prezentat la peste 100 de copii cu varste intre 3 si 6 ani si educatorilor lor. Una dintre educatoare a declarat ca acest eveniment a fost foarte binevenit pentru copiii care astfel au  experimentat  o metoda de comunicare care le-a provocat un mod inedit si interesant de a gandi.  Pentru participantii straini, interactiunea cu metoda de teatru de umbre dar si cu comunitatea orasului Codlea a insemnat o experienta intensa  si complexa.

Between the 23^rd and the 27^th of March 2013, A.C.T.O.R., as the Romanian partner in the New life for traditional stories project hosted 21 learners from Italy, Portugal, France, Estonia, Finland and Denmark, offering an intensive initiating course in shadow theatre. The working methods were innovative and creative, the learners having as homework to conceive a shadow theatre performance, per country group, starting from stories chosen before the beginning of the course. The resulting exercises were gathered in a show, performed in front of 100 children with ages between 3 and 6 years old and their teachers. One of the teachers said that this event filled a need of the children which had the outstanding chance of meeting this new communication method that challenged their way of thinking and understanding. For the participants, the interaction with the shadow theatre method and the community of Codlea, was a rather unique and complex experience.
