(Anita Cosma)

So, ready with many gifts, sweets and toys, we invited each of the bank’s headquarters, about 10 to 15 children from various organizations in Bucharest: Association Valentina – children from families, usually with only one parent, very low income; JOYO Foundation and the Association of Sfantul Arhidiacon Stefan – Children are at risk of dropping out of school, coming from very poor or dysfunctional families, International Foundation for Children, Romania – children with hearing impairments.

But the surprise was to come from them, as, accompanied by volunteers from the Cultural Association for Theatre and Origami in Romania (ACTOR), these wonderful children have delighted us with a show of great days, a theater and shadows, cultural games and other interesting activities (origami, dance, poetry, etc.).. When origami was one of socialization and knowledge, when all those present (both children and adults) began to build, together, figurines, paper, under the direction of the ACTOR. At the end of the show, children and bank employees have known better, took pictures and they gave each other small gifts (children, giving us small decoratives handmade by them).

Here are some impressions of colleagues attending the event:

“For each of those present at this event, the event had a different meaning. I learned to look at everything else around us and enjoy the simple pleasures. Laughter and joy in the eyes of children is the best proof that the event was successful. “(George Aniela)

“I was very impressed by the naturalness, innocence and modesty of children who, despite their hearing problems, performed an exceptional dance show synchronizing it almost perfect” (Anita Cosma)
