Puppet training in Canakkale

Pictures& collage by Andreea Ionescu
Between the 5th -12th of September took place in Cannakale, Turkey, a training about realizing puppets for animation with participants from the host country, Germany, Spain, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Estonia, Poland, Greece and, of course, Romania.

During the  workshops, everyone realized a  puppet, which  took part in the exhibition at the end of the project, where we could notice that all the creations received some characteristics from the personality and culture of the one who created them. Andreea and myself, Cristina, from  A.C.T.O.R. learned a not very complicated method of creating puppets, which can be used also in activities for children. The characters that we created are Vasilache- by Andreea and Marioara- by me, puppets which entertained the other participants, and which were very fun to make.
Besides the activities written above, we also experimented face and hand painting, trying to represent a character and we learned how to color a t-shirt with a model using knots…
All of these activities, which made us be more creative, together with the beach activities and the trip toTroy

, make me wish this project lasted longer
